Warm Fuzzy Wednesday

Christopher Lawrence of iSpirit posted this and I wanted to share it with the rest of you.

"Stop exclusively looking to others for happiness.

"Stop exclusively looking to others for happiness. If you’re not happy with who you are on the inside, you won’t be happy in a long-term relationship with anyone else either. If you don't have a dollar in your pocket, how are you going to give someone else a dollar? You have to create stability in your own life first before you can share it with someone else."

Have you ever had relationship challenges and wondered what was wrong with the relationship? I know that I have. We need to first look within and ask how we can personally approach the disconnect. It might be empathizing with your partner, family member or friend. It might be just understanding that you have different views and leaving it at that. Either way, the answers lie within.

Sunny Dawn Johnston asked some great questions that helped me connect the dots.
- Do you love your children and family unconditionally?
- Do you love your friends unconditionally?
- Do you love yourself unconditionally?
- How can you love others unconditionally if you don't do the same for yourself?

Dig in. Do the work. Start breaking down those walls and loving you...beautiful, unique and lovely you! Keep smiling! And if that fails...just remember that you were made to be awesome!
