It's only a thought

Wow! January came and went with a bang. It sure was amazing to look back at the past year and see the growth. After all, that’s what it’s all about, right? Staying connected, raising our vibration, learning and growing...always moving forward!

As I talked about last month, I started the ‘One Little Word’ challenge. My word for 2013 is ABUNDANCE! Bring it on, Universe! I’ll be talking more about that in the next iSpirit book, but here’s a preview of what I came up with.

Along with creative abundance, I’ve also been adding memories and things I’m grateful for into my pineapple jar. It’s starting to look like quite the colorful collection and I can’t wait to read them at the end of the year!

So, on to my big bang of month, January.

Phew! What an experience! I truly can’t explain the difference in how I’m experiencing my days, hours, minutes. It’s almost as if I see more clearly. In 'Soul-Centered,' Sarah McLean explains it like this:

“You are born full of energy and excitement. You are a joyous, peaceful, creative, energetic, present, connected, and loving being. Why don’t most of us experience ourselves in this way? This is because as we get older, stress from a variety of sources accumulates in our nervous system. And if we don’t get rid of it, it can begin to mask our awareness of that joyous peaceful aspect of ourselves.”

Yes! There it is. The mask, my friends, can and SHOULD be lifted. Your gift to yourself and your family is to remove the mask. Masks are for Halloween people!

This week, take the time to be aware. Well, I think you would really be happy if you did this all of the time, but I don’t want to enter fear and send your amygdala into panic mode.

Notice your child’s laughter or the sparkle in a co-workers eye. Ask people how their day is going or what their favorite part has been. We are all having a human experience. Let’s join hands and celebrate that. We have free will to make our future. Get excited!

How are you creating abundance in your life today?
