FREE to be you!

What do you do when someone breaks your trust? I used to be a runner and sometimes still have the tendencies. I would run and then just block the people out. I recently experienced someone disrespecting our friendship. Here’s how I’ve grown to handle these situations.

P.S. The band I was talking about is called 'Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors.' They are currently on tour and coming to Minneapolis on September 28th! Just purchased my tickets!

Now back to the video...wow! That was quite the experience. I was shaking and couldn’t eat. I was just so angry and it took me a little while to step out of my ego and think with my heart. My heart tells me that I need to surround myself with people that are positive.

A great friend of mine, Mr. Fromuth, also reminded me that the men in my life should model the characteristics that I want my son to have. What a great point! I don’t want to bring in men, even if we are just friends, who think it’s ok to cheat in order to test your feelings. I don’t want Logan to think it’s ok to be intimate with a girl who has a boyfriend. I want him to rise above that and to think with his heart. So this mama has got to model that and surround us with others who do the same.

It’s time that we FREE ourselves. I’m making decisions that will FREE myself from debt. It’s easier when we simplify our lives. Less clutter and more heart-centered activities. The same goes for relationships. Clean out the junk. Remember that we show and tell people how to treat us. Break out those affirmations and ensure that you’re not attracting someone who could care less about your friendship or relationship.

Why is this important to you? Where do you want to be FREE? Could you marriage use some wings or is your job dimming your light. Take some time to brainstorm and write down what your thoughts are. It’s time to be vigilant. Don’t get caught up in the chaos. You are beautiful and wonderful just the way you are. Keep smiling, loves!

P.S. Here's a bonus video of a song that I've had on repeat. This is how my partner will think of me! This is how he'll be! Thank you to all of those who stepped to support me!
